We’re excited to welcome Claire F. Purser, OD to Denver Eye Surgeons! Dr. Purser earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry and completed a residency in Ocular Disease at Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she trained alongside specialists in cornea, cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery.
Dr. Purser was drawn to optometry after exploring several healthcare fields and discovering her fascination with the eye’s complexity. Her residency experience strengthened not only her clinical knowledge but also her communication and critical thinking skills, which she uses to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.
She believes that communication and education are key to successful outcomes—helping patients understand their eyes and feel confident in their care. Dr. Purser is thrilled to join the Denver Eye Surgeons team and looks forward to helping patients see and enjoy the beauty of the Colorado mountains.
