This is one of the best experiences I have ever had in a medical Center! This was my first time getting my eyes checked, and I had no idea what to expect. The staff was caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt like they really listened to my concerns and helped me find the best solution. I can’t recommend them enough!

Dr.Eugenia White offers the best service and she is really helpful at explaining your eye situation.

Dr. White did the LAL surgery on both eyes. She did a fantastic job. I have not seen this well in over 30 years. She was always available through email to answer any of my questions. I would highly recommend her. I gave it four stars instead of five because II did not like the Doctor Who they set up to check my eyes after surgery. I talked to Dr. White about it and she was able to change it so that I could see her instead.

Donny is the best! He knows his stuff and what a great personality and 'bedside' manner! Super efficient too! Don't lose him!

Denver Eye Surgeons have been my providers for 10 years. I have a long history of eye problems and they have been there every step of the way. They are responsive and caring providers. Dr. Tetra takes care of my very dry eyes, prescribing serum eye drops, which has been a huge help. Dr. Maus came in on a Sunday morning to take care of a torn retina. Dr. Deibert has taken care of holes in the retinas. Dr. White recently took care of my cataracts. My only complaint is with the billing office. It takes a lot of persistence to get a response from them. I opted for light adjustable lenses with cataract surgery, and I prepaid for the lenses since they are far more than the standard lenses. They also continue to bill me for $150-200 every adjustment visit even though I prepaid and the services are standard for this type of lens.

Excellent experience during my appointment at Denver Eye Surgeons. Pleasant atmosphere in reception area. Donny the technician who handled the preliminary procedures was outstanding. Great personality. Donny was so thorough and reassuring in explaining each procedure making for a comfortable visit. Dr. White was pleasant and will have followup appointment soon.

At first, having cataract surgery may be a bit anxious. After going through the whole process with Denver Eye Surgeons, it was amazingly easy and so well worth the effort. Dr Long and his technical and surgical staff was very informative and cognizant of my concerns. I have 20/20 vision now and can see vivid colors. I am so grateful to the experts who helped me. I had cataract surgery in the fall of 2024. The staff at DES were very professional, thorough, and caring. I felt secure in the hands of Dr. White and her team. I am a Kaiser member, but they were unable to accommodate me with my cataract surgery so I was referred to DES and DES did as good a job as I would’ve expected from Kaiser. I had PRK surgery a little over a year ago. From pre-op to surgery to post-op appointments, Dr. Kumar and his team were extremely helpful knowledgeable and pleasant. Answered all of my questions and the whole experience went off without a hitch. Would be nice if every medical experience went this smoothly. Best decision ever!!

In preparation to having my cataracts removed in 2017 I was diagnosed with a cornea issue. Cataract removal helped my vision but had DSEK performed on my right eye in May of 2022 and my left eye April of 2023. Doctor Kumar did both procedures and my vision is back to very good. Only wear reading glasses for fine work. As I was to the point of hardly being able to read road signs I can now read close to the bottom line of the eye chart. Incredible procedure done by one of the very best cornea specialists. Denver Eye Surgeons is a top notch facility.

I’ve been a customer with the optical department at Denver Eye Surgeons for about a year and a half. I have purchased prescription safety eyewear for work, prescription sunglasses and glasses. I’m a big fan of Oakley eyewear and have been buying their prescription glasses for years. My most recent purchase didn’t work out so great for me mainly with the durability with the frame. I went in last week for an adjustment and to see what my options were with my insurance. Kyle was GREAT and is always so awesome to deal with. He got me into a new frame that I just picked up today. I can tell that these frames are much better built and will be a lot more durable just like all the other Oakley frames I’ve had over the years. I just wanted to say thank you to Kyle and everyone else I have worked with at Denver Eye Surgeons. Wonderful customer service, always wanting to make the customer happy!

I'm not even sure where to begin. For several years, I had been contemplating on having vision correction surgery, but had so many hesitations and reservations. However, I finally decided to "give in" and honestly, I could not be happier!! After several years of research and looking into my options, I decided to give it a go and get a consult. I had so many questions about my options....Lasik vs. PRK vs. ICL. Dr. Kumar and his team were so wonderful and answered every question I had, and made me feel more than comfortable during the process. I eneded up deciding to "take the plunge" and got ICL (Implantable Contact Lens) surgery. In short...LIFE CHANGING!!!! I had worn glasses/contacts since I was in 5th grade. I had always imagined what it would be like to wake up and not have to use a vision correction device to get my day started, or to be able to go to bed and not have to worry about taking my contact lenses out before I'd fall asleep. I work overnights as an RN, so at times would struggle by the time I got home to even think of taking my contacts out because I'm so exhausted and would fall asleep with my contacts in, feeling so guilty, as that is a big "no-no". Now, I DON'T HAVE TO EVEN WORRY ABOUT THAT!!!! Within just a couple of hours of surgery, I was seeing 20/15 and it has held steady since!! So, even to this day (almost 3 months post-op), I am still in complete shock and awe!! Dr. Kumar and his team are absolutely AMAZING!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I am a recent new patient of Denver Eye Surgeons because the Northwest Eye Center sadly shut down it's business. I had a pleasant initial routine exam with the Denver Eye Surgeons, and I purchased my glasses there. However, my prescription was just not right, and I could not get used to my glasses. The staff at Denver Eye Surgeons were wonderful with helping me figure it out and performed another eye exam the same day I went in to complain. I was given a new prescription because one eye was off. They ordered me new glasses. They are perfect; I love them! I was not charged more money, and my new glasses were ready in a week. This is a well organized, caring, professional business I highly recommend. I'm sure I will remain one of their patients for many years to come!

Every time I go to this office, I enjoy watching the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Every person knows what they are doing and talking about and spends time explaining if you don't understand something. It is impressive! Dr. Kumar is a very good surgeon and the operating area is set up to get you in and out smoothly. He follows up personally to make sure your recovery is going smoothly and if you have any more questions. I am so glad a friend suggested him. Haven't seen this good since third grade!!

I had EVO ICL surgery with Dr. Kumar. I have worn contact lenses for over 25 years, and I was extremely nearsighted. I now have 20/20 vision without contacts or glasses. The recovery was smooth with only mild discomfort. Dr. Kumar and the staff are very professional and take excellent care of you every step of the way. I cannot recommend this enough. It is life changing!

Dr.Maus is an awesome surgen. He is very personal, caring doctor. I highly recommend him . My cataract surgery was fast and painless. Dr. Brown did my post op also a personal and caring Dr. All the staff working there take such good care of you. Can't say enough good things about the level of care I received from the beginning to the end.
