Professional, friendly, competent. No waiting. No wasted time. Best eye care I’ve had. Dr. White was excellent and communicated well. The tech person, Chl, was particularly good. I’m old and a bit hard of hearing. She, without mentioning it, let alone being condescending, adjusted. Her directions and explanations were clear, concise, and understandable

My Dr. is Eugenia White. She is awesome! Very patient and caring. She answered all of my questions about my cataract surgery. The surgeries were quick and great. I’m very pleased with the results. This is a very busy practice and I was not excited about the wait times for post op visits. Overall it has a very good experience . I would highly recommend Dr. White to anyone considering cataract surgery.

I had PRK surgery a little over a year ago. From pre-op to surgery to post-op appointments, Dr. Kumar and his team were extremely helpful knowledgeable and pleasant. Answered all of my questions and the whole experience went off without a hitch. Would be nice if every medical experience went this smoothly. Best decision ever!!
In preparation to having my cataracts removed in 2017 I was diagnosed with a cornea issue. Cataract removal helped my vision but had DSEK performed on my right eye in May of 2022 and my left eye April of 2023. Doctor Kumar did both procedures and my vision is back to very good. Only wear reading glasses for fine work. As I was to the point of hardly being able to read road signs I can now read close to the bottom line of the eye chart. Incredible procedure done by one of the very best cornea specialists. Denver Eye Surgeons is a top notch facility.
I’ve been a customer with the optical department at Denver Eye Surgeons for about a year and a half. I have purchased prescription safety eyewear for work, prescription sunglasses and glasses. I’m a big fan of Oakley eyewear and have been buying their prescription glasses for years. My most recent purchase didn’t work out so great for me mainly with the durability with the frame. I went in last week for an adjustment and to see what my options were with my insurance. Kyle was GREAT and is always so awesome to deal with. He got me into a new frame that I just picked up today. I can tell that these frames are much better built and will be a lot more durable just like all the other Oakley frames I’ve had over the years. I just wanted to say thank you to Kyle and everyone else I have worked with at Denver Eye Surgeons. Wonderful customer service, always wanting to make the customer happy!
I'm not even sure where to begin. For several years, I had been contemplating on having vision correction surgery, but had so many hesitations and reservations. However, I finally decided to "give in" and honestly, I could not be happier!! After several years of research and looking into my options, I decided to give it a go and get a consult. I had so many questions about my options....Lasik vs. PRK vs. ICL. Dr. Kumar and his team were so wonderful and answered every question I had, and made me feel more than comfortable during the process. I eneded up deciding to "take the plunge" and got ICL (Implantable Contact Lens) surgery. In short...LIFE CHANGING!!!! I had worn glasses/contacts since I was in 5th grade. I had always imagined what it would be like to wake up and not have to use a vision correction device to get my day started, or to be able to go to bed and not have to worry about taking my contact lenses out before I'd fall asleep. I work overnights as an RN, so at times would struggle by the time I got home to even think of taking my contacts out because I'm so exhausted and would fall asleep with my contacts in, feeling so guilty, as that is a big "no-no". Now, I DON'T HAVE TO EVEN WORRY ABOUT THAT!!!! Within just a couple of hours of surgery, I was seeing 20/15 and it has held steady since!! So, even to this day (almost 3 months post-op), I am still in complete shock and awe!! Dr. Kumar and his team are absolutely AMAZING!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
I just had LASIK surgery with Dr Rajiv Kumar, and it was as smooth and pleasant as it could possibly have been. The staff are always personable and polite, prompt and caring. Dr. Kumar is thorough, comforting, and the consummate professional. I am feeling fantastic the day of surgery with almost no discomfort. A life changing miracle has happened for my eyes, and my vision is now crystal clear. Thank you to everyone at Denver Eye Surgeons!!
I am a recent new patient of Denver Eye Surgeons because the Northwest Eye Center sadly shut down it's business. I had a pleasant initial routine exam with the Denver Eye Surgeons, and I purchased my glasses there. However, my prescription was just not right, and I could not get used to my glasses. The staff at Denver Eye Surgeons were wonderful with helping me figure it out and performed another eye exam the same day I went in to complain. I was given a new prescription because one eye was off. They ordered me new glasses. They are perfect; I love them! I was not charged more money, and my new glasses were ready in a week. This is a well organized, caring, professional business I highly recommend. I'm sure I will remain one of their patients for many years to come!
I was so blind from cataracts in November, I thought their office was very dark and sat by a table with a lamp to attempt the paperwork given to me. Regular size text on the paperwork was surely a joke, right? (ie: I was legally blind). Then, they sent an email as if a blind person was going to be able to read THAT - What the ??? On December 23rd, a friend picked me up drove me to another surgeons office and surgery was scheduled on January 2nd. Some types of cataracts can develop quickly. Please don't wait until you're blind in both eyes to have surgery because you may wind up becoming blind while you wait over a month to see a surgeon (like this location) you are expected to wait 6 more weeks for surgery. It's absolutely terrifying and dangerous to lose your eyesight very quickly! My research says there are 3 different types of cataracts. Don't expect that your cataracts are the type that won't develop quickly from steroid sinus spray for your allergies and steroid cream for psoriasis! Find a surgeon you feel safe and comfortable with ASAP !!! Even then, another cataract can form on the back of the capsule which will need to be addressed with a laser treatment. Who Knew? Not me or I'd never had used steroid sinus spray or creams.
Every time I go to this office, I enjoy watching the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Every person knows what they are doing and talking about and spends time explaining if you don't understand something. It is impressive! Dr. Kumar is a very good surgeon and the operating area is set up to get you in and out smoothly. He follows up personally to make sure your recovery is going smoothly and if you have any more questions. I am so glad a friend suggested him. Haven't seen this good since third grade!!
I had EVO ICL surgery with Dr. Kumar. I have worn contact lenses for over 25 years, and I was extremely nearsighted. I now have 20/20 vision without contacts or glasses. The recovery was smooth with only mild discomfort. Dr. Kumar and the staff are very professional and take excellent care of you every step of the way. I cannot recommend this enough. It is life changing!
I did LASIK with Dr. Kumar and am very pleased with the results! I happily recommended Dr. Kumar to my co-worker. Quick note: My original procedure day was rescheduled due to laser malfunction. The Denver Eye Surgeons team was efficient in fixing and testing it.
I recently chose to have Lasik surgery under the care of Dr. Kumar and couldn't be happier with the outcome. He and his assistant were thoughtful and thorough throughout the process. Dr. Kumar knows his craft and I am grateful to have my distance eyesight restored to better than 20/20!

The staff is very pleasant & knowledgeable. My experience was a very in depth exam. I had cataract surgery for both eyes still healing, I can have distance instead of being so nearsighted,which is such a wonderful.change, It's so great not having to wear glasses, also I no longer have to fumble around looking for my glasses in the morning 🌄.!! 😎 Thank you & all of the staff @ Denver eye surgeon. Dr.Maus is an awesome surgen. He is very personal, caring doctor. I highly recommend him . My cataract surgery was fast and painless. Dr. Brown did my post op also a personal and caring Dr. All the staff working there take such good care of you. Can't say enough good things about the level of care I received from the beginning to the end.
Great experience, and fantastic results. Rhonda and Lisa were great about walking me through the process and my candidacy for the procedure. Dr. Kumar took the time to explain the details, then recommend options. Rhonda was great at my pre op appointment. She really explained what to be ready for on the day of the procedure. Procedure went great day of. Dr. Kumar was very efficient. The results are better than I could have imagined. The whole team and Dr. Kumar are great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering taking this step.

The staff are personable, friendly and rmotionally available. Angie the District Manager has always been warm and welcoming. She and I both wear angel pendants. Over the years I have had the distinct pleasure to work with Jana, Stella, and Matt. This was my first visit. The nurses were great. Dr. Ozzello was both professional and personal. He explained both options as well as pros and cons. I made an informed decision. I would come here again and would recommend the practice to friends.
DES removed the cataracts from both of my eyes without pain or complications. They are competent, friendly and look out for the well being of their patients. I recommend them highly.
I had Lasik done here at the end of 2021. All went super well and I can still see better than 20/20. I felt like Dr. Kumar really knew what he was doing and they had a great amount of care both before and after surgery. I was pretty nervous about the procedure but after doing a lot of research I'm glad I landed here. They were great. Highly recommend!
The staff at Denver Eye Surgeons are all so nice and move you quickly from one station to the next. My appointment went quickly and smoothly with no issues.
December 2022 As usual, the doctor and technicians saw me promptly. They did an excellent job of explaining the process, findings and implications of the examination. As a bonus, all 4 people I interacted with were friendly and personable.. August 2021 I was able to get an emergency appointment though I was new to their practice.. I saw two doctors, both of whom have great "bedside" manners. They kept me fully informed of the purpose and findings of the various examination performed. I was given clear instructions on home care and follow-up procedures. They were very professional. The support staff likewise were very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I plan to start using Denver Eye Surgeons for all my optical care.
