Fellowship-Trained Surgical Retina Specialist
Denver Eye Surgeons is proud to welcome Anthony Jones, DO, a fellowship-trained surgical retina specialist dedicated to providing advanced medical and surgical care for patients with retinal diseases. Dr. Jones brings extensive surgical experience, a patient-centered approach, and a passion for helping patients preserve and restore their vision.
Dr. Jones specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, uveitis, vitreous floaters, ocular tumors, and other complex retinal diseases.
During his advanced surgical training, Dr. Jones performed more than 1,000 surgeries and developed expertise in vitreoretinal surgery, retinal detachment repair, vitrectomy, membrane peeling, laser procedures, intravitreal injections, and secondary intraocular lens surgery.
Whether patients require ongoing medical management or complex surgical intervention, Dr. Jones is committed to delivering personalized care using the latest advances in retinal treatment.
Dr. Jones believes that great patient care begins with clear communication and mutual understanding. His goal is to simplify complex medical information so patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions.

Originally from Broomfield, Colorado, Dr. Jones and his wife are excited to return home and be closer to family. He looks forward to serving patients throughout the Front Range and becoming part of the Denver Eye Surgeons community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, snowboarding, and skating. He also has a creative side and enjoys drawing, illustration, painting, and writing. When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll likely find him spending time with his wife and their Yorkie.
